"Wow. Such a great little spot! I’m so happy we spotted it on our way to Leland. The food is incredible- we got the goat burger and sweet farmers cheese pierogis. The owners raise the meat locally and were awesome. They even gave our dog a little sample of sausage. Thanks for a wonderful meal!"

"The kielbasa? Hands-down the best I’ve ever had — cooked to perfection, burstingly juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The pierogi? Pan fried pockets of heaven. The pickled veggies? Crisp, fresh, tangy, and just the right balance of flavors — they deserve their own standing ovation. The dessert? We were lucky enough to enjoy the warm bread pudding, totally divine! Prepare to leave stuffed and don’t be ashamed to order round two (we did!). This place is pure joy on a plate. And the service couldn’t have been kinder. Highly recommend!!"

"We stopped by Polish Country Kitchen in Cedar on a whim, and were completely blown away. From the moment we walked up, it was clear how much care and pride goes into everything here—from the warm service to all the delicious sides to go with your dishes. Tom, the host, is an absolute delight—welcoming, kind, and clearly passionate about the food and the experience. He took time to share a bit about their commitment to ethically farmed meats, which made us appreciate it all even more. We ordered the pork cutlet with purple cabbage and pickled sides, and the Polish platter. Both were incredible—comforting, flavorful, and honestly better than Babcia’s (sorry, Babcia!). The cutlet was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and the sides were vibrant and balanced. The Polish platter gave us a bit of everything, and each bite was clearly made with care. This place is a true hidden treasure. We’re already planning to come back—and bring friends. Highly, highly recommended!"

"I honestly feel blessed that I got to try food from here. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was something out of the cutest storybook. Those Pierogi were fantastic, and I’ll dream about them until I get to eat them again. No photos were taken, as we were savoring every bite and summer feel during this experience. Thanks again"

"My wife surprised me by stopping in on Father's Day. We shared a Polish platter which is 1 City Chicken, 3 pierogi's your choice, and 1 chunk fresh kielbasa comes with mashed potatoes w/gravy, 2 slices of bread and sauerkraut. We also added 3 sweet cheese pierogi's for our dessert. Everything had such great flavors and this platter was more than enough for 2."

"Being of Polish heritage, and growing up on grandma and grandpas cooking, I was absolutely blown away by the quality of food served out of this truck. Of all the Polish dishes I’ve had in my life, I don’t think I’ve had any that were farm to table dishes like this… including dishes in Poland and my grandparents. Tom, the owner of the truck owns the farm that supplies all the meat. He raises the best tasting pigs and other meats and crafts everything from start to finish. The hard work and dedication results into something really incredible. Real talk, his Kielbasa is the best I have ever tasted. The Golabki was the best, the goat burger was absolutely delicious and the Pierogi was perfect! In fact, it was so good my wife and I with our unborn little one went back for seconds the very next day and did it all over again. Tom and his awesome assistant Savanah and I had a great chat about our heritage and stories of our families and there journeys and where we came from. It was heartfelt and incredibly humbling and Im sincerely excited to revisit them again. While unassuming, this spot should seriously be considered as a food destination if you are in northern Michigan. The truck backs up to a Polish Art Store that has all a zillion Polish trinkets. It’s wild! Dziękuję Tom and Savanah!!"
